Road delineation & visibility hardware is the family of small permanent and semi-permanent fixtures that make a road or work zone legible to drivers — by day through colour and shape, at night through retroreflection or active lighting. Five product lines sit under this umbrella at Muhibah: road studs (RSD series, 3M-grade reflective), flexible delineator posts, cat-eye pavement markers, solar amber warning lights and convex traffic mirrors. Each item is JKR/REAM/ATJ-2C/85 compliant where the standard applies, sourced from our Bandar Baru Bangi facility, and shipped nationwide with 7–14 day lead time on standard quantities.

Road studs (RSD series) — 3M reflective & ceramic
Surface-mounted retroreflective markers fixed to the lane line or edge line of a road. Used on highways, federal roads, council roads and industrial site access roads to keep the lane discipline visible at night and in heavy rain.
Common Muhibah codes follow the pattern RSD-{grade}-{LxWxH} — for example RSD-3M-90x100x73 is a 3M-grade reflective stud, 90mm long × 100mm wide × 73mm high. Available in white (centre / lane-edge), yellow (median / no-cross), red (wrong-way exit gore), blue (fire-hydrant locator) and green (lay-by / safe stop).
- 3M-grade reflective stud — bonded prismatic lens, ABS body, used on high-speed federal roads and expressways
- Ceramic stud — heavy-duty cast body for industrial yards and heavy-vehicle routes; longer service life than ABS in compactor-heavy zones
- Solar-active stud — embedded LED with a small solar cell; visible from 800m at night, useful at unlit highway turn-offs and curves

Flexible delineator posts
Vertical posts used to demarcate a lane, narrow median, turning circle or roundabout splitter. The flexible variant deflects when struck by a vehicle and returns to vertical, which avoids both vehicle damage and constant post replacement on impact-prone locations like exit gores and roundabout cores.
- Heights: 600mm, 750mm, 900mm, 1000mm — picked per JKR submission and sight-line requirement
- Shaft: polyurethane or HDPE — both UV-stabilised, both repeated-impact tolerant
- Base: bolted to surface, epoxy-anchored, or rubber weighted (movable) depending on permanence
- Reflective: Class 1 or Class 2 sheeting bands per JKR class
- Application: highway exit gores, turning circles, roundabout splitter islands, narrow-median separation, school-zone channels

Cat-eye road markers
Pavement-embedded retroreflective markers — sit nearly flush to the road surface so they are unaffected by snowploughs (irrelevant in Malaysia) and trafficable at full speed without bump impact. The lane semantics for Malaysian roads:
- White — centre line or lane line on most roads
- Yellow — median or no-overtake line
- Red — wrong-way / exit-gore warning
- Blue — fire-hydrant locator (used on access roads to industrial sites)
- Green — lay-by, safe-stop, public-transport pull-out
Embed depth and pocket dimensions match the JKR road-marking specification for the road class. Where the existing pavement isn't cored to receive the cat-eye, we can quote core-drill + epoxy fixing as part of the install scope.

Solar amber warning lights
Battery-free flashing amber LED lights for unlit work zones, junction approaches and rural turn-offs where running mains cabling is impractical. Charge by day from the integrated solar panel, flash by night through a dawn-dusk sensor.
- LED: high-brightness amber, visible from 800–1,500m at night depending on optic
- Battery: Li-ion or Ni-MH; typical autonomy 3–5 nights on no-sun reserve
- IP rating: IP65 minimum (rain-tight); IP67 variants for flood-prone zones
- Mount: post-top, gantry-mount or barrier-mount brackets
- Application: work-zone advance warning, junction beacons, rural T-junctions, school-zone flashers

Convex traffic mirrors
Polycarbonate convex mirrors for blind junctions, factory exits, multi-storey car park ramps, narrow estate corners and warehouse loading bays — anywhere a driver needs to see around a wall or corner before pulling out.
- Sizes: 600mm (residential / parking), 800mm (most factory exits), 1000mm (highway / industrial)
- Material: PC (polycarbonate) — UV-stable, doesn't shatter; acrylic option for indoor use

Supply + install — Muhibah's differentiator
Most road-delineation suppliers in Malaysia drop and run. Muhibah quotes supply only when that's what you want, but our install option is what most clients prefer when the project sits on a federal road, an MRT/LRT corridor or a JKR-approved permanent layout — because the same G7 CIDB-registered company that supplied the hardware also takes accountability for the layout, fixing and as-built submission.
What's in the install scope:
- Site survey + layout marking against the approved drawing
- Substrate-appropriate fixing (epoxy resin / mechanical anchor / surface-mount tape / core-drill embed)
- On-site quality check — placement tolerance, retroreflectivity verification
- As-built marked drawing and photo log for the project file

Supply & install is quoted as a separate line on the BQ — buyers who already have an in-house installation contractor stay on the supply-only line.
