Solar Traffic Sign Supplier in Malaysia

Pi-Lit® smart-blinkers, solar chevron, solar arrow boards, solar warning lights — manufactured in Bandar Baru Bangi. SIRIM-certified, LLM/MIROS/DBKL-approved. Nationwide delivery from our own factory.

Why solar?

Off-grid by design — for places mains power can't reach

Mains-powered traffic signs need cable trenching, power-supply permits and a meter — none of which work for remote roads, temporary work zones, highway shoulders, or kampung junctions. Solar traffic signs solve this with integrated photovoltaic panels and rechargeable battery banks: install, point at the sun, done. They turn on automatically at dusk and run through the night, with 5–7 days of cloudy-weather buffer in the battery. Manufacturer-direct from our Bangi facility — no distributor mark-up, factory pricing, in-house QA on every batch.

FAQ

Solar Traffic Sign Supplier Malaysia — Frequently Asked Questions

What solar traffic signs does Muhibah manufacture?
Five product families: (1) Pi-Lit smart-blinkers (sequential-LED warning lights, LLM-approved, DBKL-accepted), (2) solar chevron panels for highway lane-shift and curve warnings, (3) solar flashing arrow boards (standard and giant), (4) solar warning lights including obstruction markers, and (5) solar guide-board lights for permanent and temporary installations. All produced in our Bangi facility, manufacturer-direct pricing, no distributor mark-up.
Are your solar traffic signs approved by Malaysian authorities?
Yes. Pi-Lit smart-blinker is SIRIM certified, accepted by MIROS for road-safety operations, accepted by DBKL for Kuala Lumpur federal-territory roads, and covered by an MOU with LLM (Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia) for highway concessionaire use. Other solar traffic products meet REAM/JKR specifications where applicable.
How do solar traffic signs differ from standard mains-powered signs?
Solar signs run on integrated photovoltaic panels with rechargeable battery banks — no external wiring, no power-supply trenching, no electricity bill. They turn on automatically at dusk via light sensor, run through the night, and recharge during daylight. Ideal for: remote roads without grid power, temporary work zones (no permit for power tap), highway curves and merge points, and any location where digging cable trenches is uneconomical or not permitted.
What is the typical battery life and run-time?
Battery packs are sized for 5–7 days of continuous operation without sun (cloudy/monsoon contingency), with daily recharge from the integrated solar panel. Battery cells are LiFePO4 or sealed lead-acid depending on product line, replaceable in the field. Operational life of the battery typically 3–5 years before replacement; the LED arrays themselves last 10+ years.
Do you deliver solar traffic signs nationwide from Bangi?
Yes. We deliver across all 13 Malaysian states + 3 federal territories using our own truck fleet, plus East Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak) via sea-freight. Lead times depend on product and quantity — single-item stock dispatched same-week, bulk orders typically 2–4 weeks production lead time. WhatsApp +6012-351 3349 for current stock and pricing.
Can solar traffic signs be customised — e.g. branded for a concessionaire or local council?
Yes. Custom artwork, alternative LED colours, different mounting hardware, branded stickers and bilingual (BM/English) text are all standard customisation options. Custom enclosures and integration with central monitoring systems are available on request. Send specs via WhatsApp or email and we will quote.
