MRCB — one of Malaysia’s largest construction conglomerates — is deploying Pi-Lit smart-light technology across its infrastructure projects, with units supplied by Muhibah Konsortium Holdings as Malaysia’s sole authorised distributor. The deployment moves Pi-Lit from being a recognised technology to an actively-used worksite tool on tier-1 contractor projects.

About MRCB

Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad (MRCB) is a leading Malaysian conglomerate operating across infrastructure construction, property development, building services and engineering. MRCB’s infrastructure division has delivered some of Malaysia’s most significant transport and civil-engineering projects.

Why MRCB chose Pi-Lit

For a tier-1 contractor with strict safety and worksite-management standards, traditional flares and conventional warning lamps create operational inefficiencies: single-use consumables, replacement scheduling, inconsistent visibility patterns, and limited synchronization across larger work zones.

Pi-Lit smart-light addresses these gaps directly:

  • Reusable — rechargeable units replace single-use flares (lower long-term cost, less waste)
  • Sequential synchronization — multiple units fire in pattern, creating clearer driver direction
  • Higher visibility than conventional rotary or strobe beacons in tropical conditions
  • Solar options for unattended deployment in long-duration work zones
  • USA-engineered with proven US Department of Transportation deployment record

What this means for the industry

MRCB’s adoption demonstrates that Pi-Lit is not just a recognised technology (per MIROS acceptance and SIRIM certification) but a tier-1 contractor’s working tool. Other Malaysian construction firms evaluating advanced worksite-warning systems can now reference live MRCB use as a peer benchmark.

Supply, training and support

Muhibah Konsortium Holdings handles direct supply of Pi-Lit units to MRCB project sites, including initial training of MRCB site teams on optimal deployment patterns and ongoing technical support. As Malaysia’s sole authorised distributor, Muhibah maintains stock at our Bandar Baru Bangi facility for rapid replenishment.
