Road Work Contractor in Malaysia — G7 CIDB

Muhibah Konsortium Holdings is a Bangi-based Grade-7 CIDB civil contractor undertaking road widening, resurfacing, maintenance and highway construction across Malaysia since 2009.

Capabilities

Full road-works scope in-house

Muhibah self-performs the entire road-works scope — from earthworks and drainage through to asphalt paving, line marking and post-handover maintenance. We don't outsource our trades; the same workforce that turns up on day one delivers the project to handover. That continuity matters on JKR and concessionaire jobs where coordination across multiple sub-contractors is the most common cause of delay.

Road widening

Adding lanes to federal, state and local roads — earthworks, base course, asphalt, line marking and TMP throughout.

Road resurfacing

Mill-and-pave, full-depth rehabilitation, patching and crack sealing per JKR asphalt specification.

Road maintenance

Periodic and emergency maintenance contracts for highway operators, JKR districts and local councils.

Earthworks & slopes

Cut & fill, slope stabilisation, retaining walls, drainage and site preparation.

Highway construction

Specialist highway works for PLUS, Litrak, Prolintas, LPT2 — including LLM-spec signage and 24/7 ERT.

Traffic management included

Every road-works engagement comes with TMP design, regulatory approval, certified TMOs and our own fleet — no separate TM contractor needed.

How we run a road-work site

Real Muhibah TMP — phased highway resurfacing

Every Muhibah road-works engagement includes the Traffic Management Plan as part of the scope — no separate TM contractor needed. Below is one of three sequential TMP layouts from a real milling-and-paving project we delivered along a major Klang Valley road. The phasing keeps at least one lane open at all times. FAQ

Road Work Contractor Malaysia — Frequently Asked Questions

Is Muhibah a registered road-work contractor in Malaysia?
Yes. Muhibah Konsortium Holdings is registered with CIDB Malaysia as a Grade-7 (G7) contractor — the highest civil-works grade — under licence 0120100513-WP129348. G7 means we can tender for road and highway works of any contract value, including federal and concessionaire projects.
What types of road works does Muhibah perform?
Road widening, road resurfacing (asphalt and concrete), road maintenance, design-and-build road, earthworks, slope stabilisation, drainage, and related infrastructure works. We also supply our own traffic management for the work zone — single team, single accountability.
Which Malaysian states does Muhibah service for road works?
Nationwide. Most projects are in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, Perak, Penang and Pahang, but we mobilise to any state in Peninsular Malaysia for qualified projects, and to Sabah and Sarawak via shipping partners.
Can Muhibah handle both the road work and the traffic management on the same project?
Yes — that is our core integrated offer. Most road-work jobs require a regulatory-approved Traffic Management Plan (TMP) plus on-site flagmen, ERT and TMOs. Muhibah delivers both under one P.O., eliminating coordination friction between the civil contractor and a separate TM sub-con.
Does Muhibah work as a main contractor or as a sub-contractor?
Both. We tender as main contractor for medium-scale road, drainage and earthworks contracts, and as a specialist sub-contractor on larger projects led by Tier-1 main-contractors. Our G7 grade means there is no contract-value ceiling either way.
How do I get a road-works quotation?
Send the BQ, drawings or scope-of-works to admin@muhibahholdings.com or WhatsApp +6012-351 3349. We typically respond with an indicative proposal within one business day, followed by a site survey for firm pricing.
