Traffic Management for Highway Gantry Installation Works
Your gantry contractor handles the steel, the foundation and the install. We handle the work zone — TMP design, JKR/concessionaire approvals, certified TMOs and ERT crews, cones, shadow vehicles, overnight lane closures. Single-source TM scope for your installation team.
What we do (and what we don’t)
Installing a highway gantry — whether cantilever or full-span portal — requires extended overnight lane closures on active expressways and federal roads. Muhibah does not fabricate gantries, manufacture sign panels, or erect steel structures. What we do is the traffic management scope around your installation: getting Polis Trafik, JKR or concessionaire (PLUS, Litrak, Prolintas, KESAS, etc.) approvals, deploying certified TMOs and ERT crews, supplying the cones, signage, shadow vehicles and water tankers, and running the work zone safely from MCA window opening to handover. One TM contract, one project manager, one accountability line — so your fabrication and lift teams can focus on the structure.
1. TMP design + submission
JKR-template Traffic Management Plan for the closure, closure-staging diagrams, MCA window plan.
2. Approval coordination
Polis Trafik deployment letter, JKR or concessionaire engineering approval (PLUS, Litrak, Prolintas, KESAS, etc.). Typically 2–4 weeks.
3. Certified crew deployment
TMO/CTMO bertauliah, supervisors, flagmen, TMDT drivers — per JKR/REAM staffing requirements for the lane count and shift.
4. Equipment supply
Class 1 / Class 2 reflective cones, T-series signage, shadow vehicles, TMDT lorries, water tankers, ERT vehicles — from our owned fleet.
5. Overnight execution
Lane closure during MCA window (typically 10pm–5am). Setup 2–3 hours pre-window, ERT on standby throughout, structural team works inside the protected zone.
6. Close-out + documentation
Lane reopening clearance, photo-documented closure log, ERT activity report, handover pack for concessionaire/JKR acceptance.
