Concrete Road Barrier Supplier in Malaysia

Direct-from-factory concrete road barrier supply across Malaysia. Standard NJB modules in stock, custom variants on lead-time, nationwide delivery from our Bandar Baru Bangi yard. G7 CIDB registered manufacturer + supplier since 2009.

Quick answer

Concrete road barriers in Malaysia — supplier-direct from the manufacturer. Muhibah Konsortium Holdings supplies precast NJB (New Jersey Barrier) concrete road barriers to construction sites, highways, federal road works, and project boundaries throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. Standard 3-metre NJB modules are typically available from stock with 7–14 working day lead times for project quantities; custom heights (NJB F-shape 1,070 mm) and longer runs are produced to order.

Because we manufacture in-house at Bandar Baru Bangi, you deal with the supplier and the producer in one conversation. No middleman markup, no cross-shipped inventory, and direct factory access for site visits, sample inspection, and tender support documents.

Why source concrete barriers direct from Muhibah

Most Malaysian projects buying concrete barriers go through one of three channels: (a) a hardware-yard middleman, (b) a precast-yard supplier reselling, or (c) the manufacturer direct. Buying direct from Muhibah means you deal with the people who actually cast the modules. That gives you:

  • Pricing without the middleman markup — typical reseller margins on concrete barriers run 12–18%.
  • Lead-time control — when a job needs barriers in 5 days, we know our own production schedule and can re-prioritise.
  • Custom variants if you need them — F-shape, longer modules, embedded reflective strips, integrated mesh — all done in-house.
  • Compliance documentation on demand — JKR submission packs, REAM references, previous-project case studies are sourced from our own records, not paraphrased from a brochure.

Pricing approach

Concrete barrier pricing is genuinely project-specific — it moves with cement prices, steel reinforcement costs, transport distance, quantity, urgency, and whether you need standard NJB or a custom variant. Rather than publish stale unit numbers, we quote against the project brief.

Send the following and we'll come back with a firm number, typically within 1 working day:

  1. Quantity (number of modules or total linear metres)
  2. Variant — standard NJB 810 mm or F-shape 1,070 mm (or custom)
  3. Delivery address (or "self-pickup from Bangi")
  4. Required-on-site date
  5. Project name + main contractor (used to confirm tender alignment if applicable)

For tender preparation we also supply price-only or price + spec packets with our company chop and CIDB licence reference — useful for compliant tender bundling.

Tender support and compliance documents

For Bill of Quantities (BQ) and tender packs, we provide:

  • Product spec sheets with dimensional drawings and reinforcement schedules
  • JKR compliance reference (we are CIDB G7 registered: 0120100513-WP129348)
  • SSM company registration: 200901025491 (0868593A)
  • REAM-aligned design documentation for highway-grade variants
  • Prior-project references — anonymised list of public-sector and private-sector NJB deployments
  • Factory visit slot, on request — we welcome bidding contractors and tender adjudicators to see production
Frequently Asked

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you stock concrete barriers, or are they all made-to-order?
We typically keep the standard NJB 3-metre 810 mm module in stock at our Bangi yard, since these are the most common spec across Malaysian projects. Custom variants (F-shape, embedded reflectors, longer modules) are made-to-order on a 7–14 working-day lead time. For very large project quantities (multi-thousand modules), we batch-produce against a confirmed PO regardless of stock.
What's the minimum order? Can I buy 5 modules?
For stock 3-metre NJB modules at our Bangi yard, there is no minimum — small contractors and councils sometimes pick up 5–10 modules for short-term road-work zones. For made-to-order variants and for delivery (vs self-pickup), pricing improves significantly above ~30 modules because transport cost is the same up to a full lorry load.
Do you deliver, or do I need to arrange transport?
Both options. We deliver via partner haulage to anywhere in Malaysia (rates calculated by zone — see the table above). Alternatively, you can self-pickup from our Bangi yard if you have a hiab or crane-equipped lorry. For project quantities, delivery is usually more cost-effective because we consolidate modules onto full loads.
How do you compare on price vs other Malaysian concrete-barrier suppliers?
We are competitive but not the cheapest in the market. Lower prices typically come from yards that don't cast their own modules — they buy from one of the manufacturers (sometimes from us!) and resell with a markup. The "real" floor on Malaysian concrete-barrier pricing is the manufacturer's production cost. By going direct, you cut out one or two layers of margin. Send us a quote you've received and we'll show you the apples-to-apples comparison.
Are your concrete barriers JKR / REAM compliant?
Yes. The standard NJB profile is designed per AASHTO and Malaysian JKR/REAM guidelines, including the sloped New Jersey face, dimensional spec, and pin-and-loop interlock. We supply the supporting compliance documentation pack on request — useful for tender submissions and for project quality clearance.
Can I see the factory before placing an order?
Yes — we welcome walk-in factory visits during office hours at Wisma Muhibah, Bandar Baru Bangi. Bidding contractors and tender adjudicators are particularly welcome to see production in progress. Please WhatsApp +6012-351 3349 ahead of time so we can schedule a guided tour.
Do you supply plastic / water-filled barriers as an alternative?
Yes. For temporary sites where ease-of-relocation matters more than impact-rating, we manufacture and supply lightweight plastic barriers and water-filled barriers as well. See the concrete vs plastic barrier comparison for guidance on which is right for your project.
