Traffic Management Officer (TMO)

About the role

Oversee on-site traffic management for construction and road-works projects, ensuring full compliance with the approved Traffic Management Plan (TMP) and Malaysian regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and lead a traffic team to ensure traffic equipment is deployed as per the approved Traffic Management Plan. - Plan, coordinate and review traffic safety plans, procedures, and programs — including prompt response to accidents/emergencies and coordinating traffic diversion activities. - Supervise on-site traffic safety to comply with relevant statutory and company requirements. - Assist in carrying out activities related to Traffic Management at the construction site. - Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required. - Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as and when required or instructed.

Requirements

- Valid certificate of Traffic Management Officer (TMO) from CIDB. - Minimum Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or equivalent. - At least 2 years of relevant working experience. - Valid GDL licence.
